Steve Earle prefers simple, versatile guitars. His favorite Martin is a 21-style, but he’s long admired the simplicity, sound, and durability of Martin’s all mahogany guitars. The new Martin Special Steve Earle Endorsed 0000-size 14-fret guitar is the final result of conversations with George Gruhn and the folks in the Custom Shop that started during the Pandemic. Several Custom Shop models were produced for Steve with the eventual plan to make a more affordable version for sale through Gruhn Guitars. Features include: all mahogany construction with full satin black stain finish, 0000-size body with 14-fret neck, Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard with slotted diamond mother of pearl inlays, tortoise pickguard, open back Grover tuners, Fishman VT electronics, comes with a hard shell case.
