7th Annual John Henry's Friends Benefit

Steve Earle has announced the 7th Annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit concert, which will take place on December 13th at The Town Hall in New York City. Hosted by Steve Earle, the event will feature performances from Steve Earle & The Dukes, Bruce Springsteen, Rosanne Cash, The Mastersons, Willie Nile, and Matt Savage.

All proceeds from this event, as has been the case with each of the previous John Henry’s Friends Benefit concerts, will be donated to The Keswell School, an educational program for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Founded on the belief that children diagnosed with ASD can live full and productive lives as integrated members of their communities, The Keswell School provides educational, therapeutic, and supportive services for children diagnosed with ASD and their families. Steve’s son, John Henry, is a student of the school.

An Important Announcement from Steve Earle, The Dukes & Their Crew

FROM STEVE EARLE AND THE DUKES AND CREW,

TO OUR FANS

In light of all the new information and no small amount of misinformation surrounding the recent spike in Covid infections and the emergence of the Delta variant we all sat down last evening before the show and talked about the road ahead of us. As we look forward to another 25 shows, over half in extremely “hot areas” of the country, we felt it was necessary to, at least, discuss our options should this very real healthcare crisis worsen.

Well, we did that, and we decided to finish the tour if at all possible. We are all vaccinated and we trust the science and therefore it is our belief that we are in minimal danger of serious illness. That being said, we are taking the news that Delta is much more contagious, and may be transmitted to others by vaccinated individuals very seriously. We are masking, testing on a regular basis, and maintaining our bubble. We do this mainly to prevent us from carrying the virus with us around the country. To protect YOU and help you not to make each other ill when you attend our shows. Please, respect our efforts and get vaccinated or wear a mask when you come to see and hear us perform. This is not a requirement, as such regulations are illegal in many of the places we are playing on this tour. It is rather a plea for your cooperation and respect.

SEE YOU DOWN THE ROAD
