hello all..

i just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your continuing support and kindness during this last year....Tues., Sept. 30 was my first "anniversary" clean date, 365 days of no tequila or vicodin or percoset or whatever....somedays, i didn't think i would make it, but yall always believed i would...that made a lot of difference in my life...

 I must confess, last year in fall, when you wrote how miserable you felt, I rather wished than believed you will manage . But you've shown how strong and resolute you are!

viky, don't feel badly...i thought the same thing about myself several times!!  i think the worst of those doubts are over, even though i still have bad days and i guess i always will...like Walon said on "The Wire," "quittins' the easy part, now comes life."  and that's true, dealing with actual life is the hard part...

a friend once told me what "sober" means:

And that is so true...
