    Someone you might like

    Hey all,

I just touched base with a kid I used to work with when I was in the Air Force in England. I moved to the States in 2003 and he left the service just before that and moved to Austin. What's funny about finding him now, and this forum, is that the first time we spent time together was when I was looking around the unit for someone who wanted a spare ticket to the Steve Earle/ Del McCroury Band Mountain tour before it imploded a bit later. It was a fantastic show at the Royal Festival Hall in London back in 1999. I found as we talked before and after the show that Jason was someone who wrote songs and used to play bluegrass, folk, and Americana back in his younger days in Mississippi. Anyway, if you like Steve than I think you might like both of Jason Eady's albums. You can visit his sites and hear his music at www.jasoneady.com and www.myspace.com/jasoneadymusic.

Let me know. It's great stuff.

Good stuff! He reminds me of a Guitar Town Steve...... I really like the music - good old fashioned country music.
    Yours forever blue xx

Billy Eli, out of Austin Texas.  Hes a beer joint kind of guy.  He plays up in Trumansburg, NY a bunch which is how I know him.  I think hes got some pretty clever tunes,  and I think an early Steve Earle fan would dig him.  http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=90422927  ,
